We are feeling really inspired by soft and lustrous nude tones in interiors; the combination of pale pinks, beiges, greys and whites. Airy linens and cottons juxtaposed with the roughness of wood and stone; creating a romantic, harmonious and timeless interior that has a cozy layered feeling.
The perfect floor to complete the romantic look is our next Floor of the Month, Kährs Oak Dew. This rustic floor by Kährs Harmony Collection brings a sense of freshness and cozy ambiance to any interior. Combined with the floor’s distinctive wood texture, the white nature oil patina provides a fresh ambiance reminiscent of a dewy field on an early summer morning. This floor is guaranteed to enhance an exclusive sensation of your habitat.
Kährs Oak Dew will be offered at a special 20% discount during all of September and available in stock in Dubai. Contact us on tel. +971 4 369 55 69 for more information.
We are feeling inspired by the recent celebrations of Midsummer in Sweden and the most anticipated season that is summer. A time of romance, happiness and being outdoors; when flowers blossom and nature flourishes – a time when we celebrate the seemingly endless light of day.
That is why we have selected Kährs Pale wood flooring as our Floor of the Month for July (during July 1-July 31). Pale has a beautiful semi transparent white colour with balanced contrast that allows the warm oak nuances to shine through. It is the perfect base for a light, Nordic-style interior – reminiscent of the bright Swedish summer.
Nursery rooms are very intimate spaces, a space where your children can wind down to rest, first place they wake up, a place where play and use their imagination. Therefore, the way you design your child’s nursery and room plays a big role in their well-being.
We are currently feeling really inspired by muted pastel pink tones in combination with earth beiges and whites. The colour combination is calming, inspiring and timeless.
We suggest using our beautiful Kährs Vista wood flooring. Vista is a rustic, handscraped product containing large knots. Misty white in color with balanced contrast and transparency.
We are feeling really inspired by all things natural right now.. lots of muted beige/grey/white/nude tones with the odd touches of metal- creating an overall classic and timeless feel. With so many stimulants in our day-to-day lives, it’s nice to be able to create a space in the home to give our senses a rest.
Select our new Kährs Chevron White wood flooring for a modern take on a classic pattern. The floor’s chevron pattern combined with its creamy, warm white colour creates a comfortable and elegant look.

The bedroom is one of the most important spaces in a home, and making sure that it is a calm, harmonious and tranquil space is an absolute must.
We are really feeling inspired by the “industromance” (industrial meets romantic) in this bedroom in Sweden via Stadshem Mäkleri. The combination of earthy tones and natural materials together create a very cosy and inviting feeling.
Seeing as the most important element in the bedroom is the bed, especially considering that we spend on average 25 years(!) of our lives sleeping- it is best to ensure the mattress you select is comfortable and of a high quality standard. A great option for high-quality mattresses is the Dream Mattress by Celeste. The Dream Mattress was specially designed for the hot weather of the UAE, and regulates air flow and restores your energy while you sleep. Definitely worth the investment!
We suggest pairing Celeste’s Dream Mattress with a simple, nearly-invisible base and cosy white linen sheets for a Scandinavian look. Add soft details such as a beautiful pendant lamp, rug, cushions and art with a little bit rougher, industrial-style accents such as a floor/table lamp, wire basket, and clothes rack.
Complete the look with a rustic wood floor with a slight grey tint, such as Möre by Kährs Småland Collection. Möre is a rustic floor with a scraped, flowing surface that high enhances the structure in an natural way, where the cold grey tones appear to have been worn down, revealing a warmer base.
We love the combination of the hard and soft textures in this industromantic bedroom!

When we think of Mexico, we think of white sandy beaches, turquoise waters, beautiful aged wood and intricately patterned textiles. And dreamy, romantic summers. Bring a piece of Mexico into your home with Kährs Oak Cancun. This wood floor is reminiscent of Cancun’s iconic sandy beaches with its elegantly muted yellow, grey and white-toned stain and natural oak texture.
Stepping away from the typically colourful style, we suggest opting for a more neutral take on classic Mexican interiors. Neutral does not have to be boring! By playing with different natural textures, materials, tones and patterns typical to the Mexican heritage and culture, you can achieve a more stripped and calming look and feel.
February is known as the month of love, and considering it was Valentine’s Day yesterday, we’re feeling inspired by all things romantic at the moment.
Did you know that the colour pink represents compassion, nurturing and love? It relates to unconditional love and understanding, and the giving and receiving of nurturing. In colour psychology, pink is a sign of hope. It is a positive colour inspiring warm and comforting feelings- a sense that everything will be okay.
Add a touch of pink to neutral interiors to add that true sense of warmth and comfort, and combine with a beautifully rustic wood floor such as Kährs Oak Olof, with its handcrafted, deeply brushed, white stain and luscious nature oiled surface.
Temperatures are rapidly dropping here in Dubai, and we can’t help but get a little more excited about the cooler climate and all the cosy festivities happening this season. Interior design bible Elle Decoration has stated that this autumn is all about “feathers and bold patterns combined in a wide range of shades such as soil, chestnut and rust mixed with metallic shimmering copper, gold and amber with accent colours in deep red and bright blue.” And as for the floor? Kährs Domo wood flooring – an extremely rustic 2-strip board with knots, cracks and a beautiful deep golden brown colour – is a perfect match to this autumn’s colour palette.
Another great source of inspiration is Pennsylvania-native Anthropologie. They definitely know how to inspire with their beautiful images and styling, and have got us seriously excited for a more rustic, layered, countryside autumn with their new November Lookbook, set perfectly against the the backdrop of the picturesque Scottish isles of Jura and Islay. Now we’re not only excited for the cooler climate, but also for visiting beautiful Scotland! Wow, what a landscape.
Do you ever daydream about travelling and discovering exotic, fascinating places around the world? Then you’ve probably got a case of this:
a strong desire to travel
This autumn we’re not only still seeing a strong presence of natural materials, but also the concept of bringing pieces of the world into your home. Even if you are unable to travel so far, you can bring in exotic, vintage worldly elements into your home. By keeping the tones neutral, you create a common thread for an overall calm, harmonious and romantic bohemian feeling in your home.
And what better to match worldly interiors than a beautifully aged, rugged and rustic wood floor by Kährs Da Capo Collection? Namely Indossati – an extremely rustic board with knots and cracks which gives it a very old look. The lightly smoked and white stained surface gives the floor a fresh and natural bohemian look that we love!
