Here’s a sneak peek from this morning’s photoshoot at our client’s villa in Nadd Al Hamar (Dubai), where we have installed our classic 3-strip Kährs Oak Siena wood flooring throughout the entire home. We’re very excited to show you the finished photos!
The villa has been fully refurbished by the homeowner, who himself is an architect. The villa has a large influx of natural light, thanks to the large windows, open spaces and use of bright colours, light-reflecting materials and neutral furniture.
Stay tuned for all the pictures coming to our portfolio soon.
Further to our last post featuring the inspiration mood board for this home’s bright dining room, we wanted to share some more images of this beautiful and effortless loft apartment in Kungsholmen in Stockholm, Sweden.
The brightness of the space, in combination with the minimalist monochrome decor, makes for a timeless and elegant look. And we love the white-washed herringbone oak wood floors.

We have seen an increase in requests from our clients to “do something” about their existing staircases at home. And we completely understand why.
The standard pre-finished staircases that usually come with a house or apartment are typically either in tile, marble or dark rosewood. And what better way to create an airy flow throughout your home than to also clad your staircase with a Kährs wood floor?
This client in Green Community sets a perfect example of how to modernise a staircase. By adding a highly contemporary-looking glass panel instead of a classic handrail and clad the steps with Kährs Oak Limestone wood flooring (the same wood floor as seen throughout the rest of the villa) – they have successfully created a perfect transition between the villa’s two levels while also enhancing the staircase as an important decorative element in the home.
