LAUNCH EVENT

We held a launch event in our showroom last Wednesday to celebrate Quality, Sustainability, Innovation and Design with our closest Architect & Designer friends, and despite the heavy rainfall, the turnout was great. The event was a great success and we can’t be happier.

A great, big thank you to all who joined us!

Our lovely Managing Director, Pauline Madani greeted our guests in a typical folk costume from Östergötland, her native province in Sweden.

The wonderful Nordic Homeworx family gathered.

Our guests arriving, mingling and browsing through our Kährs wood flooring collections and samples.

New products on display, including Kährs brand new Capital Collection, as well as our new A&D Sample Box.

Our Managing Director, Pauline Madani talked about the Nordic Homeworx & Kährs story, and displayed some of our most beautiful, prestigious projects throughout the Middle East.

Our guest of honour, Kährs Environmental Ambassador & Sustainability Manager, Bruce Uhler held an inspirational speech about sustainability. He spoke about the development and concept behind a new city – Hammarby Sjöstad – now under construction in Stockholm, Sweden that is designed to reduce energy and water use by up to 50% while eliminating the use of fossil fuels and urban sprawl. Internationally, Stockholm’s brownfield development Hammarby Sjöstad is seen as one of the world’s highest profile examples of Sustainable City Development. And Kährs has well over 200,000 m2 on this project!

Goumbook founder, Tatiana Antonella Abella spoke about the Give a Ghaf Tree Planting Program, an initiative to plant and conserve trees in the Middle East. The program was established to encourage people to plant Ghaf trees and help protect one of the world’s most valuable symbols of the living desert. All our guests received a Give a Ghaf bracelet, and for each bracelet, one Ghaf seed will be planted!
