While strolling through IKEA to get our monthly fix in the Swedish Food Market, we saw new items featuring the same print as the log textile that we wrote about a while back, including a table runner and a round tray.

Full of rings and imperfections, we love how logs tell the story of a tree’s life. We can tell when a tree has grown quickly, when it has been ill, if someone has hammered a nail into it. Did we mention that while visiting Kährs factory in Nybro this past summer, we were told about how they had once collected the logs of an old tree – only to discover that there was a bicycle grown into the tree? Trees are really incredible
