When Xworks relocated its Abu Dhabi office in 2025, one decision was easy: take the floor with them. Originally installed by Nordic Homeworx in their Reem Island office in 2022, Kährs Oak Palazzo Fumo was carefully lifted, moved and reinstalled in the new workspace. A testament to both the durability of the floor and Xworks’ commitment to thoughtful, sustainable design.
Rather than replacing perfectly good materials, the team chose to give the floor a second life, proving that quality craftsmanship and responsible design can go hand in hand. Few floors get a chance to start over in a new space, making this project a powerful example of designing for longevity.
