WELCOME TO SCANDIWOOD

July 15, 2013

Something important to keep in mind when designing a space is the kind of style you want to portray. For instance, a light wood floor immediately makes for a more sleek, fresh and Scandinavian style. Darker wood on the other hand, makes for a more colonial and elegant feel, while cherry or redder woods generally make for more classic interiors.

We are loving the combination of raw ash wood (similar to Kährs Ash Skagen) and Scandinavian designer furniture seen in this home below. This place from Folkhem is styled perfectly with nice gradients of whites and greys. When can we move in?

So what feeling do you strive to achieve in your home? Regardless of which you choose, Feng Shui recommends having a strong wood element within your environment in order for it to feel more harmonious and balanced.
