We’re in Stockholm visiting Kährs at the @sthlmfurnfair! This year’s focus is lots of sleek monochrome tones and the introduction of their new Luxury Tiles range.

Christmas is a mere 3 weeks away we’re definitely getting into the festive spirit! We’re feeling inspired by an earthy, neutral theme- one that appropriately reflects this year’s focus on both the earth’s and our own inner wellbeing.
A calming but soulful Christmas, inspired by our very own Oak Sture wood floor by Kährs Founders Collection with its muted warm grey colour and rustic, cosy feeling.
With the summer heat slowly subsiding, a new season is upon us. One that promises cooler temperatures and warmer, cosier interiors. We’re currently seeing a lot of retro-inspired spaces with muted tones such as organic reds, bronze browns and cumin yellows as accents to an otherwise neutral palette. Where keywords are natural, minimalist and tranquil.
We recommend combining these warm hues with a light wood floor such as Oak Nouveau Blonde by Kährs Classic Nouveau Collection to keep it feeling fresh and modern. One of the biggest trends this season is clearly a harmonious home.
They say that “April Showers Bring May Flowers” and therefore it comes as no surprise this month’s got us daydreaming about all the gentle hues of delicate florals (especially when you get a daily Insta-dose of gorgeous Florette bouquets to inspire you). We are loving an array of blush hues right now – ranging from light peachy creams to lavish dusty pinks – that together give that ultimate romantic spring feeling.
Our Floor of the Month for May 2018 is Oak Pale by Kährs Harmony Collection. Oak Pale has a semi-transparent white hue with balanced contrast that allows the warm oak nuances to shine through. The perfect base for a light, nordic style interior that complements those romantic blush hues perfectly.
Kährs Oak Pale is currently available in stock in Dubai. Visit our showroom in Sidra Tower or contact us on tel. +971 4 369 55 69 for more information.
For the month of April we’re inspired by a vintage deco based on the dusty, muted hues such as golden yellows, rich greys, bronze browns and rose. Where the colder tones balance off the warmer tones, creating a beautiful depth when layered.
Our Floor of the Month for April 2018 is Oak Earth by Kährs Artisan Collection. Oak Earth has a rich smoked finish that enhances the natural colour variations for a rustic, vintage expression. Knots and cracks pepper the boards, adding depth and balancing the toasted sesame seed highlights.

We recently collaborated with the talented Live Loud Girl team for a special interior photoshoot – featuring that playful style that Live Loud Girl is known for.
Our natural Kährs Oak Siena wood floor was selected to add an earthy and grounding feel to the otherwise vibrant decor – showcased in two different room settings. We love!

This palette from Jotun’s 2018 collection includes colours such as the pale grey Bare; the rich brown Norwegian Wood; and warm beige Raw Canvas – “inspired by Copenhagen and London, Brooklyn and Berlin – all pockets of modernity, brimming with creative culture” and epitomises cool, clean lines balanced with softness and warmth. Where industrial meets comfort.
Kährs Oak Granite is the perfect combination of both. The cool cement-grey stain on this smoked oak floor allows the warmer tones of the wood to seep through, resulting in a beautifully rustic expression. Each board is carefully brushed to bring out the character of the grain and highlight the natural texture of the timber. The matt lacquer finish eliminates glare while protecting the wood from daily wear.
Kährs Oak Granite 3-strip is currently available in stock in Dubai. Visit our showroom in Sidra Tower or contact us on tel. +971 4 369 55 69 for more information.
Yesterday we spent the day at the beautiful Fairmont The Palm hotel for our annual kick-off, reviewing the year that has passed and planning for the year ahead.
After a full conference day, we proceeded to have drinks overlooking the beautiful sunset, and finally made our way over to The Chef’s Palette by Gaggenau – a unique cooking studio run by talented Michelin star trained Chef de Cuisine, Romain van Durmen.
During our Spanish-themed masterclass, we learned how to make a delicious paella and chocolate-dipped churros. It’s a great team-bonding experience- and Chef Romain and his colleagues were all extremely pleasant, amusing and informative. The perfect end to a great day out with the team!
